Several prominent Norwegian politicians say wind mills should be built at sea
to fuel offshore oil and gas projects. Spokesman on energy issues for the
governing Labour Party believes the offshore windmill parks could help
considerably cut climate emissions from the industry. Mr. Tore Nordtun says state and the petroleum industry
should join efforts to construct the windmill parks. The state should engage
heavily in research, projecting and development of windmill parks at sea, Mr.
Nordtun says, Dagens Næringsliv reports.
